Donepezil HCl is a GSK3 and AChE inhibitor and potential σ1 receptor agonist used to treat Alzheimer's disease. It also improves learning and memory, downregulates expression of NR1 subuinit of NMDA receptors, decreases left ventricular end diastolic pressure, and increases left ventricular contractility.
